Meine Frage:
It's a general mathematical question:
I have two material mixtures with a certain ratio between C and N content.
One material has a C/N ratio of 11, and the other C/N ratio is 240.
I want to produce 500 g of a material with a C/N of 25.
How many grams of C-rich material do I need and how many grams of the material with a C/N of 11?
Thank you very much for helping me with this calculation!
Meine Ideen:
25/1=X*(240/1)+Y*(11/1) |

You need the second equation X + Y =1 Now you have two equations. The first equation is 25= 11*X + 240 *Y
X = 1- Y
25= 11* (1- Y) + 240*Y
25 =11 - 11* Y + 240 * Y
14 = 229*Y
Y = 0,061 => 6,114%
X = 0,938 => 93,886%
For 500 g you need 469,43 g X and 30,567 g Y |

Thank you so much for the help!
Seems like the math basics were too many years ago, will calculate it with some other values and dry matter weights...
